1. Service provider

The Service is operated by Innolope LLC, which is responsible for its content and is the controller of personal data processed through it within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation. All correspondence, including legal notices, privacy requests, rights-holder complaints and press enquiries, should be addressed to [email protected], which is monitored by the team responsible for the product.

2. Responsibility for content

Innolope LLC is responsible for the editorial content it publishes on the Service. It is not, however, the author of everything that appears there: parts of the catalogue are derived from third-party product feeds and openly licensed reference databases, and ratings, votes and reviews are contributed by members of the community. Contributed material is screened automatically and reviewed by people where screening raises doubt, but it is not adopted as our own statement, and any user can report a published contribution from within the Service or by writing to the address above, after which we review it promptly.

We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information generally, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity, and any obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected by this. Liability in that respect arises only from the moment we become aware of a specific infringement, and upon becoming aware of such an infringement we will remove the material concerned without delay.

3. Trademarks and product references

Brand names, product names, packaging designs, logos and trademarks belonging to fragrance houses, perfumers and retailers appear throughout the catalogue in order to identify the products the Service indexes and the shops at which they are sold. They remain the property of their respective owners, are used descriptively and nominatively rather than as an indication of origin of our own service, and their presence implies no endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation. Rights holders who consider that any use exceeds what is permitted are invited to contact us at the address above so that the matter can be resolved directly and quickly.

4. External links

The Service contains links to external websites operated by third parties, most prominently the retailers featured in the price comparison, over whose content we have no control and for which we accept no responsibility. Those pages were checked for apparent legal violations at the time the link was established and none were apparent; a permanent substantive review of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement, but upon becoming aware of one we will remove the link without delay. The content of a linked page is always the responsibility of its provider.

5. Consumer dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for the online resolution of consumer disputes, which is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, and we would ask you instead to raise any complaint with us directly at [email protected], where it will reach the people who can actually resolve it.
